WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY BLOG AWARDS 2010

Contour Housing Group has teamed up with one of the North West’s top digital media companies – And Digital – to launch our Community Blog Awards 2010, a competition that’s open to all our residents. So, whether you’re experienced on computers and already creating your own blog, or if you’ve no idea what a blog is… it really doesn’t matter because we’re offering a free training session to get you started. We’ll even pay your expenses to come in to our offices for the training.

There’s plenty of time to get your blog up and running. The competition opens for entries in 1st July 2010 and the judging will take place in August. We’re accepting both ‘long-form’ blogs like Wordpress and ‘micro-blogs’ like Twitter – so whatever your style, you can enter.

It’s well worth taking part as the prizes are fantastic! The overall winner will receive their very own Netbook to continue working on their blog and support from top web designers And Digital to get the blog looking just right! Winners will be announced in September at the resident’s conference.
